Typical appointments are 20 hours per week. The pay rates may vary depending on the nature of the job and the student’s experience. Graduate assistantships pay a monthly stipend, tuition and 80% of the student's health insurance premium. Students are required to take 9-12 credits per semester. All appointments automatically terminate at the end of the spring semester, if not before, and appointments carry no guarantee of renewal. Students who have had appointments for both the preceding fall and spring semesters are eligible to apply for summer tuition assistance if they need to register for summer.
