MFin students are required to enroll in the MFin summer term as well as two regular terms of full-time graduate study. MIT students who have taken both 15.401 and 15.402 prior to enrollment in the MFin program may be permitted to waive the summer term and will not be required to pay summer tuition. $78,000(12 months), $105,500(18 months)

All applicants whose native language is not English and who have not received their entire undergraduate education in an English-speaking country must submit scores from one of two internationally recognized assessments of English language proficiency, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Test scores are valid for two years. For applicants planning to enter the program in 2018, we will consider scores for tests taken after July 1, 2017.

We accept self-reported score for both the GMAT and GRE test and have no preference for one over the other. Once your online application is submitted, you will not be allowed to replace your test scores. Test scores are valid for five years from the date of matriculation; therefore, we will consider all scores taken after July 1, 2014. We ask that you include percentiles when adding your score.
